THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY (2024)

There are mysteries and legends everywhere in the world. Neil Armstrong and many others tried to uncover this legend of giants, treasures, and a library of metal books so big, that one man can not lift one. Are the secrets of the legends still guarded by native cultures? Many have tried to unearth the truth and no have succeeded.

DID ANCIENT GIANTS EXIST IN AMERICA?

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY – Chapter 1

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY (1)

There have been many discoveries throughout the world where large skeletons, skulls, and other human bones have been found. Evidence is all over historical documents and there are documented discoveries that are hard to ignore. In fact, there have been discoveries and news reports that talk about large bones found in the western states of America, even recently. These specialists stated that the discoveries must have been from ancient civilizations that lived in the area. They were not just ancient people, but giants.

If you haven’t heard of these discoveries, you may want to learn of these giants to better understand this story. I find it interesting to learn of the possibility that giants once lived on earth and as you learn about giants of the past, you will better understand this story.

MODERN DAY TRIBES THAT STILL LIVE IN THE OLD WAYS

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY – Chapter 2

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY (2)

There are many accounts of modern day tribes that still live the way that people lived in Central America many hundreds of years ago. These tribes are so deep in the Amazon that some of them have no idea that modern day cities, technology, and modern day luxury even exist. Remember this part of this article because later, it will help you understand why this legend could still be secretive and hidden. To add to that, this library was a metal library and could still be protected by a tribe that thinks of this site as sacred.

Could that be true? Could there be modern day natives protecting this sacred area from all outsiders that dare to venture into the Amazon?

FATHER CRESPI’S COLLECTION AND MUSEUM OF ANCIENT ARTIFACTS

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY – Chapter 3

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY (3)

Father Crespi plays a big part in this story because the local tribes’ people liked him and gave him artifacts as gifts. They gave him so many artifacts throughout his 60 years of being a missionary in Ecuador that he displayed them and opened a local museum for all to see.

What was so special about these artifacts and where did they come from?

I was astonished at the size of most of the artifacts he had. There were oversized tablets, jewelry, plates, doors, decorations, statues, pottery and so much more. There’s a lot more to this story than just the size of the artifacts, as you will see. Some of the artifacts show pyramids similar to the pyramids found in Egypt. Some also show possible god-like figures made of gold and silver, along with other materials and he had many artifacts that may suggest, to those of us studying these old artifacts, that it seems to be almost a mix of cultures or an ancient people that history does not talk about.

“Rare!” Those words are from professionals that control the diagnosis of archeology and anthropology, but to professionals that study lost history, this is not a rare and misunderstood coincidence. Many of us researchers have seen civilizations inherit written language, food, building methods and more.

Many of these artifacts suggest that they are Babylonian or Egyptian. Some disagree and call them something else. The odd thing that still puzzles people today is the similarities of possible alien activity. Could this area of Ecuador have a hidden history?

Many professionals came to visit Father Crespi and to view his museum. Organizations like Universities, church officials, professors, archeologists, anthropologists, and many more came. Many of them had theories and they were all trying to determine where the artifacts came from. For Father Crepsi, these were gifts from the local people that he loved so much. He spent most of his life with the local people and they treated him in their old ways, showing him with metal gifts.

In the 1960s, a fire broke out and destroyed his museum. This is not like other treasure stories thatend, but it is intriguing to follow the mystery of where are the lost artifacts? He was able to save most of his artifacts and for the next 15 or so years he stored them in rooms and the hallway of his living quarters. He kept all his artifacts safe until he died in 1982. The village people were very broken hearted that he died and they left his things the way he did. This would be the undoing for further investigations.

Soon after Fathers Crespi’s death, artifacts were robbed from his home. These artifacts didn’t show up in museums, they just disappeared. Many theories have been passed on in the last 30 plus years, but one thing for sure, the artifacts seem to be gone forever..

CAVE OF TREASURES, GOLD, AND KNOWLEDGE WAS DISCOVERED

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY – Chapter 4

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY (4)

In the mid 1960s a prospector named Juan Moricz was trekking into the dangerous jungle of the Andes Mountains and made a discovery that caught the world’s attention. He found an entrance to a massive cave. Intreated by its wonders, he followed it further and further. The words he used were “An endless cave” to describe what he explored.

After some length of time, he found a section of the cave that had man-made structures, carved into the walls. He also described what he saw. The architecture was perfectly made on the walls and ceilings. While admiring this section of the cave he found the motherload. It was a collection of gold and silver tablets, panels, books, and more. He believed that this was a priceless treasure, or some will say a library made of gold, with all the knowledge of the past. He mentioned that the symbols on these artifacts and books had pictures and symbols of pyramids and more.

Do the artifacts sound familiar? This “Metal Library” sounds a lot like the artifacts that Father Crepsi had in his collection. But how? Father Crepsi had his collection around the same time that Juan found the cave.

The people that now know both stories, believed that Juan found the cave that the local tribe was guarding, and offered gifts to their friend, Father Crepsi.

NEIL ARMSTRONG – THE FAMOUS ASTRONAUT TURNED TREASURE HUNTER

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY – Chapter 5

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY (5)

Neil Armstrong the astronaut and treasure hunting? That’s correct. Neil heard about Father’s Crespi‘s collection and he traveled down to see them. It wasn’t long until people came to the realization that points to one fact; these artifacts must have come from a nearby area, and the local tribes know of their whereabouts.

People started to research and even though the village people were closed-mouthed of the location of more artifacts and where they came from, people learned of a great mystery. The local tribespeople knew of an ancient site that they deemed spiritual and secret. People started to learn that these modern day village people knew of a great underground city that they have been protecting for hundreds, maybe thousands of years.

After further inquiring, people learned that the local people were not as friendly about this story and inquiries as they thought. These village people gave the gifts to Father Crepsi out of love and respect but these local tribes didn’t want outsiders to learn about the ancient site.

Neil Armstrong and his large group of professionals and military men did learn that there was a massive cave system not far away.

Could this be the site where Father Crepsi’s artifacts came from?

After a large man-scaled hunt, Neil Armstrong’s group did in fact find a cave system. In this cave system, they did find man-made structures, carved tunnels, rooms, and more. It was an exciting find. Newspapers and magazines wrote about the discoveries and the world thought that the collection of artifacts from this lost civilization would be found. The hunt wasn’t unsuccessful but Neil and his group didn’t find the lost treasure that they were hoping to find.

THE MASSIVE CAVE SYSTEM OF CUEVA DE LOS TAYOS

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY – Chapter 6

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY (6)

The cave system is large but many think that the cave has been explored fairly well in the last decade. Some believe that the cave is much larger than many have explored. Many reports have talked about the cave going for miles and miles vs what people are saying is only 2.5 miles long. If this is true then perhaps many explorers including Neil Armstrong, did find the correct cave system but didn’t find the right passageway to the artifacts.

Many massive cave systems that have been explored in modern time with technology and mapping software, do have chambers, tunnels, and different entrances. In fact, some caves are so big, people make the mistake of thinking they are several different caves with one entrance when it’s actually, one massive cave with several entrances.

Could that be the case with Tayo’s Cave?

MODERN DAY SEARCH AND TREASURE HUNTING

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY – Chapter 7

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY (7)

In 2016 I became more involved with this story. I was reviewing my old files and found several notes I had made about the Tayos cave. For several days I went to work telling people about the story and that’s when I found that I needed to be really involved with a podcast. This podcast show had one episode recording called “The Metal Library Secret Entrance found.”

I thought to myself, secret entrance? I know that many people had gone looking for the Metal Library and had come back empty handed. I’ve heard of reports claiming that the cave has been found but there are no artifacts to be seen.

On this podcast was a man that claimed he lived in the area of the Tayos cave and that his family found the entrance that leads you to the room full of metal books, tablets, and more. He also claimed that people have been using the wrong entrance. The main entrance that everyone uses today, leads to what feels like a dead end. He claimed that he spent many years exploring the area for main entrances to the cave and after finding a few, the right one was finally discovered.

As I was listening to the podcast recording, I was thinking, why is he going public with this story? What doesn’t he get it out without causing attention? After a few more minutes, he said, “I am a poor man. I know nothing about recovering treasures or where to sell them. I need help. If anyone has knowledge of treasure hunting and has the right connections, please get a hold of me. Now it makes sense to me. It’s not the first time I have heard this from many people that don’t know the ins and outs of treasure hunting.

In fact, most people usually get scared, nervous, and excited all at the same time and leave the site without taking notes of where they had just came from. Lost treasures stay lost because of this natural human error.

After hearing this podcast, I contacted some of my connections and they told me a phone number that led to another phone number in Ecuador. According to what I learned, it seemed that this man was talking with people within my circle and they had heard about his discovery too.

After a couple of months prepping and contemplating on my next move, I learned that the podcast had been taken down shortly after I had heard it and I was never able to get the man’s information or name. Could this have been another tall tale? Or was there truth to his story?

THE RISK OF VENTURING INTO THIS AREA TO LOOK FOR THE METAL LIBRARY

THE TAYOS CAVE AND THE METAL LIBRARY – Chapter 8

I haven’t given up on this story. I’m just doing extensive research and preparations to decide my next move. I will say this, it appears that even the locals fear the tribe that is protecting the correct entrance to the metal library. I have had many reports of people telling me that some have gone to look for the treasure cave and some have not made it back.

Apparently, many people that live in the area do not dare to look for the cave. I have been warned by American professionals that have worked the case and I have been warned by people in Ecuador not to go looking for it.

It does appear to me that there is more to this story than we think. A simple Google search for Cueva de los Tayos takes you to a cave entrance and what appears to be a cave tour that tourists can go on, if you have deep pockets. In my opinion, this cave, which can be found online, must be the one that Neil Armstrong explored. It does have man made structures inside but it has a big descent at the beginning of the entrance.

Jaun, the prospector from the 60s, nor any others have mentioned that advanced climbing gear is needed to find the Metal Library. I feel that the wrong entrance has been used for many years now and that the correct entrance is still waiting to be discovered. It seems to be the same massive cave system, just the wrong doorway to the secret mysteries of the Metal Library.

If that’s not the answer, where did Father Crespi‘s artifacts come from?
